This is where you’ll find periodic updates on pieces I am either working on or, more usually because I don’t get around to it, pieces I have recently completed. I’ll try to give you some of the back story for each of these too.

    • Wisdom

      Wisdom

This project brought me out of my normal modus operandi as I sought to reflect in this piece the dramatically changing moods of the passage. It was written, recorded and mixed over a single weekend, which began when I sat down at the piano and allowed the melody to emerge, seemingly of its own accord.

    • Twenty-One Roses

      Twenty-One Roses

I could not think of a better 21st birthday present for my friend Hannah, than a piece of music composed to celebrate her on this special occasion. So here it is, with all my love. Many thanks to pixidust for the lovely snow effect on this visualiser.

    • Winter at Blackmore

      Winter at Blackmore

This piece is a taster of a movie soundtrack concept I am working on for The Master’s Rose, a new manuscript (and screenplay) from my friend Hannah. I found the story deeply moving and gripping – what wonderful characters and plot!

    • Under The Holly Tree

      Under The Holly Tree

This piece was inspired by the story Born Of Thorns, which my good friend Hannah has just finished drafting. We shot the video on location, at a place we call Paradise Hill…
